CNIguard welcomes new Chairman

After 16 years as Chairman of CNIguard Ltd and as Vice Chairman before that, Dr Harlan Ullman has decided the time is right to step down.

We have honored this request and Dr Ullman will shortly become Senior Advisor so we can continue to draw on his experience and talent. Having been instrumental in helping to devise and implement the company’s strategy that has generated our great success with utility customers as well as bringing onboard a key investor and user of our solutions, including electing two new directors, Dr Ullman has served the company with great distinction.

In his final message to shareholders and colleagues, Dr Ullman said he strongly believes that as and when this pandemic subsides, CNIguard will be in the vanguard of firms that are well prepared, positioned and ready to help drive the recovery; our infrastructure protection solutions will safeguard and support the electricity, gas, water, steam, transportation and communications sectors given that the company has taken all appropriate precautions in dealing with the economic consequences of Covid-19 to resume business once economies begin to recover. He also offered his appreciation to his teammates and especially to Dr Edward Klinger and his co-directors for their efforts, cooperation, insights and friendship during his tenure that have helped bring success to CNIguard.

CNIguard is delighted to announce that Mike Westcott will take over from Dr Ullman as Chairman following his election by the Board. Mike joined the Board in January 2020, having recently stepped down from National Grid where, as a member of the Executive team, he was CHRO and Head of Commercial Property for over 12 years.  Prior to this, he spent 14 years with Diageo Plc, including 4 years based in the US. His early career was spent with Guinness, ICI and BOC plc. Mike is co-founder of the Strategic HR Advisory firm, Westcott & Judge, which provides advisory services to listed, PE and VC backed companies. He is also an Operating Partner with Executive Search and Advisory company, Hobbs & Towne, who partner with disruptive technology companies in the US and Europe.
